Community Paramedics aim to recruit staff of the highest caliber, and as such have a rigorous recruitment and selection procedure. Therefore joining Community Paramedics does not happen over night, and we take our statutory responsibilities very seriously. We are both fair and accessible in our recruitment and selection processes, and are proud to have signed up to the Disability Confident Scheme.
All patient facing roles require Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks as well as the necessary checks to confirm applicants have the right to work in the UK. Most staff are recruited on a self-employed basis and so are required to complete a declaration to state they will be responsible for their own tax, pension and any other such payments for which they may be responsible.
